Taking to the Road

They had stayed later than intended at the party the night before. However, Jake still managed to wake up relatively early. He packed a few of his things in a small suitcase, with enough space for Niko to add some things as well. He packed a bit of food too. The food and drinks Jake packed into the bags on his motorcycle. Then he collected Niko's medications as well.
Only after that he went into the bedroom and leaned down to kiss Niko. "Good morning, sweetheart."
The morning could be slow if they needed but he was excited to get on the road. He wasn't quite sure where they would go but he didn't worry since Davy was going to come and get the kittens to stay with him for a few days.
